Magic filled the air at the TCL Chinese Theater in Hollywood for the premiere of The Incredible Burt Wonderstone, starring Steve Carell, Steve Buscemi, Olivia Wilde and Jim Carrey.
With David Copperfield as special consultant and also appearing in the film, this unforgettable comedy opens up the world of magic and the art of illusion, centering on a veteran magic team and an up and coming street magician in Las Vegas.
Cheering fans lined Hollywood Blvd to get a glimpse of their favorite celebrities. As the stars arrived, many of them took the time to cross the street, meet their fans and sign autographs before arriving on the red carpet.
The magic duo of Steve Carell and Steve Buscemi walked the carpet with their wives, Nancy and Jo. Jim Carrey dazzled the crowd wearing his shimmering suit coat and vintage sunglasses, which he never took off! Olivia Wilde looked stunning in her elegant black gown as she strolled the carpet and waved to fans.
David Copperfield made an appearance as well with many fans asking him to perform some magic of his own! Many other notable celebrities also attended the premiere in support of the film including John Ratzenberger and Steven Tyler.
As the story goes, Las Vegas has been home to legendary magicians Burt Wonderstone, played by Steve Carell and Anton Marvelton, played by Steve Buscemi. Burt and Anton, along with their glamorous magic assistant, Jane have been amazing their audiences for years with their grand illusions and magnificent costumes.
With their longtime friendship at odds, Burt and Anton are now facing fierce competition from creative street magician Steve Gray, played by Jim Carrey, performing some outrageous stunts of his own.
As Steve's popularity rises, Burt and Anton must find a way to get back to their roots and regain their fan base...possibly with the help of Burt's original inspiration, illusionist Rance Holloway, played by Alan Arkin.
